1 Smart Thermostat Premium supports thermostat accessories connected to the thermostat using 1 or 2 wires. Smart Thermostat Enhanced and Smart Thermostat Lite support accessories connected to the thermostat connected to the thermostat using 1 wire.
2 ecobee thermostats are compatible with most 24VAC systems, including conventional (2H/2C) and heat pump (4H/2C) a, 2- and 4-pipe FCU, 2-Pipe FCU with Auto Changeover b, and Highrise Heat Pump systems with accessories. For heat pump systems, Smart Thermostat Premium, and Smart Thermostat Lite support 2H/2C and two stages of aux heat.
a Smart Thermostat Enhanced is not compatible with 4H/2C heat pumps but is compatible with 3H/2C.
b Smart Thermostat Enhanced is not compatible with 2-Pipe FCU with Auto Changeover.
3 Compatible Apple home hub required to enable Siri on Smart Thermostat Premium. Apple HomePod and HomePod mini are compatible home hubs. All Siri capabilities are available on the thermostat except voice calling.
