TORONTO (February 4, 2016) –– ecobee Inc., Toronto-based maker of the highest rated wifi smart thermostat in North America, and several dignitaries announced an investment in Ontario’s environmental future today. Acting Premier Deb Matthews and Minister Glen Murray publicized a $100 million investment to help homeowners reduce their energy bills and cut greenhouse gas emissions. The investment will help Ontario homeowners conduct energy audits to identify energy-saving improvements and provide rebates for retrofits.
