Works with most HVAC systems
ecobee Smart Thermostat Lite is easy to install and works with most 24VAC HVAC equipment, including gas, oil, electric, dual fuel, and forced air. It supports conventional (2H/2C) and heat pump (4H/2C) configurations, 2- and 4-pipe FCU, 2-Pipe FCU + Auto Changeover, and High-rise Heat Pump systems, and supports a 1-wire accessory. Do note that Smart Thermostat Lite does not come with the Power Extender Kit, but it is available for purchase separately.

Industry-leading reliability
ecobee thermostats are powered by a dedicated 24VAC power supply using a Common wire (or C wire) for consistent performance, even in the coldest weather. The Power Extender Kit (sold separately) allows for installation in most homes without a C wire.

Full HVAC accessory control
More and more projects are including accessories like ventilators, humidifiers, and dehumidifiers. With ecobee Smart Thermostat Lite, you can offer your customers the integrated control they want with easy support and control for a one-wire HVAC accessory device, like a humidifier, dehumidifier, or ventilator (HRV/ERV). Self-powered accessories will require an additional 24v isolation relay.

AC Overcool to Dehumidify
This feature will use your air conditioner to lower the indoor humidity to keep you cool and comfortable if you don’t have a dehumidifier.
