How to enroll in the Smart Savers Rewards program
With eco+ applications to the Smart Savings Rewards program are submitted through your ecobee mobile app on Android or iOS.
Open your ecobee mobile app and set up eco+ for your home.
Enter your utility information while enabling eco+ and select Enroll Now to apply to the Smart Savers Rewards program.
Once your application has been approved, you will receive a $25 Amazon e-gift card.
Participating in the UI Smart Savers Rewards program
On really hot days between 2pm and 7pm from June through September, United Illuminating may call for a temperature adjustment.
During these events, your ecobee thermostat will be adjusted by a few degrees for up to four hours. With eco+ enabled, the temperature adjustment will be tailored to your savings preferences.
All adjustments are voluntary and you always have control of your thermostat. You can end an adjustment by changing the temperature on your thermostat, through the mobile app, or through the web portal.
