With eco+, applications to TEMP√ are submitted through your ecobee mobile app on Android or iOS. Open your ecobee mobile app and enable eco+ for your home.
Enter your utility information while enabling eco+ and select Enroll Now to apply to TEMP√.
3-4 weeks after your application has been approved, you will receive a $50 Prepaid Mastercard® in the mail to the service address of your Georgia Power account.
Participating in Georgia Power’s TEMP√
During hot summer weekdays between 2pm and 7pm from June through September , or cold winter weekdays between 7am and 10am from October to May , Georgia Power may call for a temperature adjustment.
During these events, your ecobee thermostat will be adjusted by a few degrees for up to four hours. With eco+ enabled, the temperature adjustment will be tailored to your savings preferences.
All adjustments are voluntary and you always have control of your thermostat. You can end an adjustment by changing the temperature on your thermostat, through the mobile app, or through the web portal.
