Joe – I am an avid tech user and blogger. I’m always looking for ways to stay up to date with the latest technology, trends and brands. I discovered smart thermostats from browsing social media, primarily Twitter. My old Honeywell thermostat broke in the winter, and I was looking to upgrade into the 21st century with the latest and greatest technology. I turned to ecobee for a reliable product to keep my house warm in the very cold winter!
I wanted to ensure that I had updated technology, so ecobee3 was the obvious choice. I also wanted to be able to put the remote sensors in multiple rooms. Plus, ecobee3 offered the most potential for energy savings. I love the remote sensors because they let me adjust based on my houses conditions. For example, I can make sure that colder rooms are kept warmer, or that the rooms I’m in are the most comfortable.
ecobee’s brand strategy was very appealing. Their marketing is great – it demonstrates the amazing ecobee3 product features and shows how much the company cares about its customers. Just look at the great customer service experience they offer. The ecobee Twitter feed is always being updated, they interact with their customers on a daily basis and provide company and product updates so that we are always in the loop on what ecobee has to offer. The VIBee program is great; it engages users so that when we buy a product, we are also getting an experience. Customers feel like a part of the Hive.
