Registering your ecobee Smart Thermostat will allow you to access it from anywhere through your personalized web portal. Receive live weather feeds, temperature alerts and helpful reminders that are only available if the Smart Thermostat is connected to your homes wireless router.
If you do not connect the ecobee Smart Thermostat to your wireless home router it will operate as a standard programmable thermostat.
