ecobee is looking for an outstanding Senior Product Manager to join our team: Someone who is driven to bring great products to market.

Primary Duties

• Lead a multi-disciplined team to define and deliver home automation products that are easy to use and drive real energy conservation for consumers.
• Engage with customers, contractors, equipment manufacturers and our internal development team to create market ready products.
• Manage product requirements and release timelines.
• Strong Project Management skills to keep internal / external development efforts on schedule.
• Speak at conferences and sales meetings.
• Provide technical sales support to our field sales organization
• Collaborate with marketing to create go-to-market strategies and documentation.
• Actively stay current on upcoming market trends related to our product space, and continuously disseminate this information back to the company.

Qualifications

• A drive and will to succeed and the ability to break down walls to achieve great results.
• 5 or more years experience in product management with either software products, consumer electronics or HVAC products. Skills include understanding the product lifecycle, managing requirements, managing project timelines, understanding product P&L.
• A solid understanding of Consumer Electronics Manufacturing.
• Creative problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated success engaging team members, customers and channel partners.
• A keen interest in the environment and conservation.
• A B.Sc. in Engineering
