Position Description: ecobee requires an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join
its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who is looking to
advance their career with an entrepreneurial and dynamic organization.

Position Overview:

  • Work with the Wholesaler to increase sales, reduce returns and increase market share
  • of our products at the contractor level.
  • Assist the Wholesaler in the creation and implementation of a Market Coverage Sales
  • Plan.
  • Work as a team member in support of sales and marketing activities within a defined sales territory.
  • Service the needs of representatives by handling incoming and outgoing communications (written and verbal).
  • Cold calling new and existing wholesaler and contractors.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships within our distribution network.
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of all Market Coverage activities and detail in SFDC.
  • Cover outside meetings and presentations for the Wholesaler when necessary.
  • Handle proactive outbound calling to set up appointments, provide updates on product and share sales ideas.
  • Handle reactive inbound calling to answer questions, concerns and requests regarding products and services, client accounts and marketing information.
  • Prepare information and marketing kits for all sales activities.
  • Apply outstanding communication, time management and territory management skills to maximize effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Results oriented individual.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and writing/presentation skills.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Self motivated and highly disciplined team player.
  • Experience in any multi-stepped conceptual sales process.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • 1-3 years of sales/marketing/call centre experience
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills together with strong  listening skills
  • Proven ability to take initiative, be a strong self-starter and display professionalism
  • Solid organizational and time management skills with strong client service approach.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • University / College / CET designation preferred
